The Commemorative Centennial Wall Tile

For 100 years, the National Urban League movement has empowered African Americans to secure self-reliance and economic, social, and political equality. And since 1968, the Greater Sacramento Urban League (GSUL) has served that vital role in our community.

GED classes … gang intervention … vocational training … job placement … health and fitness education … these are just some of the services we provide to people in the Greater Sacramento area.

You and I know that Sacramento faces enormous challenges today. Even as people talk of an economic recovery, many of our friends and neighbors remain unemployed, uninsured, and struggling to stay out of poverty.

As part of centennial celebration of the Urban League movement, I invite you to become a member of the Greater Sacramento Urban League movement by purchasing a commemorative wall tile. Your tax-deductible contribution of $500 will be remembered forever as part of our Centennial Wall Tile campaign.

By making this generous gift you will invest in GSUL enabling us to provide services and programs to more than 4,000 youth and adults in the Greater Sacramento area every year.

Make your commitment TODAY to purchase a centennial tile, and receive:

 12x12 inch black Italian marble commemorative tile bearing the name of your choice. Featuring our Centennial logo in gold lettering,

 Invitation to Centennial Champaign Reception and

 One Year Membership to the Greater Sacramento Urban League

They needed our support – now we need yours…Thank you for empowering communities and changing lives.

Sincerely,

David B. DeLuz

President and CEO
